Lullaby

I

The sun at its last strength
Shone the deceitful sun
Wearing popinjay rays
Posing gimmick afternoon
When the children play-way senses
As the river paths weep dampness
and potshards
For fireflies have licked sun rays
To quench sunlight.

II

The sun has gone asleep
Thus nocturnal comes
When power supplier sleep
beyond be careful
And griots cooked tales
From animal kingdoms
To legendary empires
Bringing gentility hands
To play snores rhythms
Beyond the griot's world
Roaring in the heart of Disneyland
Laughing Tom and Jerry
Only to see sunrise quenching lamps
As the cock crows.
